goals. goals. goals.

having long ditched new year’s resolutions, i now go with setting goals, and planning for it 🙂
here are a few of what i am looking to do this 2015.

  •  save & invest

saving your hard earned money is just not enough. with most banks going online, it is now easier to invest in uitf and mutual funds.  the question now though is it going to be purely mutual funds? should i invest more in stocks? government bonds? a lot? a condo?  hmmm…

  • make a dent on the reading list. 

start slow but steady. target at least 1 book a month. should i fine myself for every missed month?  

  • get rid of the muffin top.    

need to be healthier. read somewhere that “health risks begin to increase when a woman’s waist reaches 31.5 inches, and her risk jumps substantially once her waist expands to 35 inches or more. For a man, risk starts to climb at 37 inches, but it becomes a bigger worry once his waist reaches or exceeds 40 inches.so it looks like lessen carbohydrates.          so, the muffin top has to go. run more. balanced diet. less soda.

  • save and travel on a budget  

a toughie given that the places i want to visit now are pretty expensive. siem reap, vigan, london is on top of the list now. however, more possible should be to go to one new local (PH) destination and one out of country trip (asean?). 

  • do more outside of the box. 

have fun with the raspberry pi, explore python and go, finish that raised garden bed, spend more time in the test kitchen!

while the list may look daunting, it is not at all impossible 🙂  it is all in the planning and execution. and the will of course. so good luck to me 😀
