[travels past] Muizenberg beach, SA

It was mainly the colored huts that made me want to see it in person. And since it was on the way back from the marine excursion that we joined, we just had to drop by even just for a few minutes.

Muizenberg beach when we visited was pretty cold with the occasional gusts of wind and had dark overcast skies looming overhead, threatening to bring in the rain in a whim. Despite all of these, it felt so good to feel the sand from this part of the world with the Indian ocean just a stone throw away.

These are supposedly changing huts but not sure if these are still in use. Other than that, they are truly instagram worthy. The paved walkway for pedestrians was a nice touch as well for those just wanting a good and thought-full walk or the usual people watching.

surfing backpackers haven.
the sea and the mountains in just a few minutes – just my kind of place.
a play area for kids while the adults take to the sea for their kind of play.
even with the biting cold, these brave souls were still there, taking on the waves.

I wish I would be able to come back, even just for a day or two when all is bright and sunny.
