[travels past] thai street food

It has been ages since my family went to bangkok, thailand. these photos remind me of that desire to go back asap. why go back? because i didn’t get the chance to sample it all!

Thai food is particularly familiar to the filipino taste buds because of its penchant for sweetness and sourness. The main difference though is how they ante up that spiciness. However, what I did find out is that no matter how spicy the food is, it simply complements the other flavors and does not particularly overwhelm it.

My most unforgettable Thai food would be the tom yum fried rice which we had for lunch in a restaurant that had a particularly long line of locals and did not speak English at all. Good thing they have pictures of some of their menu items. And the fried banana with sesame seeds that caught my eye when traversing the streets towards the mall.
