Cebu Safari & Adventure Park is situated in the hills of Corte, Carmen and as the guide said, they are not a zoo but rather a 170-hectare sanctuary. It is home to more than a thousand animals, all pretty much well cared for. Other than animals, it also has a big garden with a variety of orchids on display.

The huge property is sectioned into several interesting attractions like the African savanna, a white lion safari where you get the chance to get close to the White Lions albeit in a well-screened jeep, the safari outpost where you can walk through a canopy trail and pass by birds like crowned cranes, white and black swans go idling around in their own ponds, a safari stadium where a bird show happens, an animal trail where you get to see capybaras, llamas, a petting zoo with lambs and rabbits, and a whole lot more. Entrance to the park is at PhP 800.00 per person although they do offer discounts for kids up to 3 ft and senior citizens, too. Tickets can be bought online on their website.

They now have opened up a few food outlets to cater to the hungry pack of humans after walking around the park. The prices are pretty reasonable, i would say.
I believe it is a good way for from all walks of life to be familiar and appreciate different species of animals without spending a fortune. For the animals though, even if they are in captivity, they do have it better off than animals in zoos with overcrowded cages and minimal rations for food. Hopefully, it stays that way.
