The Windsor Castle was our first stop for the bus tour we booked for a day on the English countryside. It is a royal residence in the English county of Berkshire although sadly, we didn’t see any royal at all. Oh wait, there were royal guards and i guess, the royal househelp. The place was grandiose, in a kind of English way. A lot more subdued than the french and italian but it has its own charm. i wish i could have stayed an hour or 2 longer though but the bus awaits.
