travels past: Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri, Pisa

when in pisa, everyone really heads for the leaning tower of pisa where Galileo Galilei was said to have experimented with 2 balls of different  masses to conclude that the time of descent is was not dependent on their mass. that is, that  objects fall with the same acceleration.

but along the way, you get to see nuggets like the Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri, a quaint little church built for the Order of the Knights of St. Stephen. i marveled at how real the painted curtains framing the windows were. it was a pity i didn’t get to explore  its interior but i read that it is worth a stop. maybe, some day soon.
