walking about in the roman forum was a dream if not for the heat that reminded me that it was all indeed true. i have long wanted to tread in a settlement used by people thousands of years ago. and this was it! the roman forum was the center of roman public life for centuries.
it is so awe-spiring to see works of art that are not only intricate with detail but would also dwarf us.
