the doumo clock. the only clock that runs the “italian time”
i chanced upon this gem when was I was about to leave the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Firenze’s main cathedral. the cathedral was in itself imposing from the outside and was as fascinating inside.
when i took this shot, it took me a second or so to realize that its hand was running counterclockwise and it is in fact a 24-hour clock. how cool is that? 🙂
