weddings are simply beautiful.
it is when we witness the commitment before God by two people who promise to have and to hold, for better or for worse.
it is a venue for family and friends to reminisce and bond.
it is the welcoming of a new member to the family.
as they say, families do not lose their kin during marriage, they are actually getting a new one.
January 09, 2016 was such a day for the Nimis family. the day we welcomed Nestor’s bride, Analyn.
Theirs was not exactly an easy story. because nothing is ever easy for a long distance relationship. but technology has a way of making things a lot easier. seeing them together though would belie the fact that for the most part, they were apart.
analyn has seen us through the good and the bad. birthdays, christmases and new year dinners, little trips and dine outs. she was with us through the worst days of our lives. she was there for daddy during sickness and she grieved with us like she was our very own. best of all, nestor has found someone he knows he can commit to, for the rest of his life. and he did just that.
