with the new year, we are always reminded that we can reset the cycle and start over. there is always that element of hope that we can start anew, start afresh.
most of us have made it a habit to make new year’s resolutions only to realise in a few months time that we can not and will not be able to keep to it. perhaps, because we always think that we can start again, next year. if there is a next year.
most of our failures though is because we do not plan to make our resolutions come true.
as they say, when you fail to plan, you plan to fail. and that is so true. each one of us needs to think clearly of what we really want to do and plan for it and commit to it.
this is true whether the goal is to become healthy in all aspects – financially, physically, emotionally, career-wise or just to challenge yourself. it is also a matter of knowing yourself and knowing what you can do and what you are capable of doing.
so, if we want to make good on our resolutions, we just need to plan for it and commit to the plan.
and i am doing just that 🙂
