I have always had my eye on this resort for the longest time now. A room sale, a birthday and a honor student’s gift was just a perfect excuse to finally experience what Alegre Beach Resort has to offer.
I have always enjoyed the drive up to northern Cebu with the smoothly paved roads. And Sogod, where Alegre is situated is a very reasonable 2 hours away from home. I had expected the resort to be beautifully done and it did not disappoint. Most of the designs were all integrated into making a comfortable home while taking advantage of the beauty of nature. Both the pool and the clear blue/green sea with it’s beautiful beach front were inviting although the sea in this case was the clear winner. The staff were very well trained and very hospitable. Always willing to help without being intrusive. But most of all, I was with family and loved ones 🙂 Give or take missing my 2 sisters and younger bro on this trip, but that only gives me a perfect excuse to go back!
