sumilon island is but a 3-hour scenic drive + a 15 minute boat ride away from cebu city. for such a gem, it is relatively easy to get to. and because of my bluewaters indulgence membership, it was pretty much affordable. it is a near-perfect way to spend the weekend with family and friends where you can indulge in a variety of activities like swimming, trekking, snorkeling, kayaking, or even just hanging out and getting all tanned. and the staff were just superb. especially the waiter who served us our dinner, joseph i think was his name.
if there is something i can get used to should i opt to live out of the city, it would be the rushing of the waves lulling me to sleep and the hush of the wind waking me up.
that is what you exactly get when you stay in such a beautiful island as sumilon.
