and this year, it was lilies and roses 🙂 they were a pleasant surprise after a morning full of meetings 🙂 they were especially sweet smelling as well. nothing like flowers to feel that you are special. for women anyway :).
nolan and i dont usually go out on valentine’s day but this year, i wanted something unique 🙂
instead of opting for a romantic dinner in a posh restaurant, i wanted to do something really cowboy. and how cowboy can you get with having dinner at mattias? 🙂
mattias is a place in mandaue known for its mouth-watering bbq. people come from all walks of life and gives a clue on how good it is.
it was our first time in mattias and we were reduced to asking how to go about ordering food and realizing we had to be alert to be able to get a table. believe me, when your stomach is growling, things can get stressful when the place is full and not one available table is in sight. but soon after we finally got
one and had our orders right before us, it was all smiles soon after.
looking back, the seemingly chaotic way of how things are done in mattias is more than compensated when you finally have good, delicious and cheap food right before you. your stomach is all full and heavy with hardly a dent on your wallet. AND, we actually got what we selected for grilling!
