the coriander by sheldon

28 May 2011

finally got to try the coriander by sheldon at crossroads and i would have to say i enjoyed the dining experience 🙂  i have wanted to check it out for sometime now ever since a friend told me they have been going back to the said resto on a regular basis. so regular that i suspect they already have a table reserved for them there 🙂

we started with their version of tomato soup with pita bread. not the usual tomato soup but yummy nonetheless. it is now a toss for me between giuseppe’s and the coriander’s when it comes to tomato soup 🙂

i decided to try their hainanese chicken to see if this would make me appreciate it this time around. i tried having this dish the first time i was in singapore and my taste buds did not quite agree with it then. their hainanese was so delicious and so filling. the sauces are not shown in the photo below but i believe the sauces – especially the chili sauce was just right.

our other dish was the tandoori fish fillet. it was spicy but just enough to make me appreciate it.

i definitely recommend the coriander by sheldon when you are in cebu. good food, good service, good price. what more can you ask for? 🙂
