tonight was not badminton night – for me.
definitely feeling under the weather ( translated: on and off fever, throbbing headache, generally weakened state), i still decided to see what i was missing. after around 2 hours of being in the sidelights, these were the things i noted with a “keen” eye.
50% of players were women.
2 of 40 players were lefties. and they were playing against each other!
3 were openly gay, 2 of them could not seem to stop themselves from being overly affectionate with quick pecks on the kisser in between points.
12 were wearing black tops, with white being a close runner up at 8.
4 wearing jogging/legging pants, 3 wearing skorts and the rest wearing shorts.
6 brands of shoes being worn.
the rackets were a little too fuzzy to call so no count done there.
so what did i learn today? that it takes creativity to think of how many ways you can differentiate a given populace 🙂
