jethro gibbs was his name. he stayed only over a month with us but he managed to endear himself to all of us. for a dog person like me, one of the breeds i was not really keen on having (blame it on the movies) is a rottweiler. jethro gibbs proved me wrong. he can be fierce looking but be as playful as a labrador. i was probably more of a playmate to him since once my mom hollered his name, he would go running.
i will miss him waiting for me down the staircase and start tugging or biting my feet once i am within striking distance 🙂 . i will miss his (failed) attempts at going up to my room at the second level of our house. he never got the chance to do so. i always thought it was only a matter of months before he would be able to do so. i am sure my family will have different reasons why they would miss him.
thank you jethro gibbs for the sweet and (some literally) painful moments.
one day soon, i will have one like you again 🙂
