we are now on the 1st year after the 1st decade of the 2000s. indeed, how time flies!
looking at numbers always leaves me in awe and makes me realize that it is really a matter of what we make of our time here on earth.
only in recent years have i been more religious with setting personal goals in a more focused manner. most of my to-do list was always something to do with work. perhaps the bout with vertigo made me realize that nelanie has to work hard but play even harder 🙂
2010 was a good year for me. my Maestrodev team is one of the best project groups i have had the pleasure of working with. my family was in good health although there were some financial challenges to deal with but we are doing ok. my heart is happy with my longtime && handsome beau. and i was fit and healthy and sporty. and i finally learned how to swim properly 😀
There were some losses to deal with but trite the saying maybe, when God closes a door – somewhere He opens a window. The important thing is to take a stock of things and learn from it.
2011 should be a better year though.
more time to spend with the people that matter.
more places and events to see.
more people to meet and get to know well.
more productive efforts in producing things of value.
more skills to master.
and the list just made me realize i should get that calendar and plans filled up! 🙂
