i have recently started a series on setting up a lego drama of the day (aka LDOD) and sharing it via twitter ( twitter.com/nelanie ).
this was borne out of some discussions with friends who are also into lego although some more seriously than i do.
and of course, i have an office-mate who has tons of lego stuff that i can borrow 🙂 honestly, i just want the lego mindstorm and one of the lego train sets but i am digressing now.
as i am using my phone to capture this scene, it is a little bit tricky to get all the details in. for this post, i wanted to share how this LDOD (for june 23, 2010) aptly titled “not your usual day at the park” came to be.
so why ” not your usual day at the park”?
the 1st 2 LDODs i did all involved negative aura at some point.
that is, the 1st saw two policemen going down, the 2nd was a car chase scene. my frame of mind was probably a reflection of the tv series i keep tuned into – bones, criminal minds, ncis, chuck. the 3rd should be more positive, right? 🙂
and what can be more positive than a day in the park!
the setup as started by an office-mate started on the right track. trees, flowers, benches, a hotdog stand. we have 2 people in deep discussion over coffee, just enjoying the day. perhaps discussing what is taking so long for npanday 1.2 to release? hehe
and we need to have some lovebirds enjoy some biking bonding moments. sweet, no?
but could not resist – why not 2 prisoners in handcuffs enjoying the park as well? with 2 prisoners around, there should be their jail guards somewhere right? so we find one jail guard manning the hotdog stand for some extra money 😀 and the other biking around with his girl.
the chef was quite shocked to see who was asking for some of what he was having. there are some extras at the back as well. no reason really except for that they were there.
and that was how my 3rd LDOD went. hopefully, this is not going to be my last 🙂
