to iphone or not

not really a stranger to the ipod family so this question may seem like a no brainer for me. but it is 🙂

i purchased my 1st ipod the next day after it debuted in japan. yes, even when the news was in japanese, steve jobs marketing the new ipod still worked on me 🙂

in any case, after that came the ipod touch which i still think has the perfect size if you want an organizer/entertainment gadget all in one package. the real downer though would be how you need to use iTunes to synch with it not to mention having to convert your videos to  the mp4 format. why not support avi, apple? 🙂

but i was never really attracted to the iphone. i love my ipod touch but to put phone call capabilities into it?  hmm…not for me.  until i had it for free 🙂

my brother was “rewarded” (by Globe) with a 32GB, 3GS Iphone and he was concerned with piling up unknowingly his phone usage so he promptly gave it to me to use.  it was “sayang” to put such an expensive gadget to non-use thus i am now giving it a chance.  i am guessing that i will eventually get used to the difficulty of replying to messages or calling for that matter especially when driving.

but i am missing my Nokia E51. perfect size for a phone with call and text functionality && enough capability for some useful utilities/apps. best of all, it is very sturdy too! God knows how enough I have dropped this phone and relieved every time time I  check for scratches and bruises 🙂

let’s see how long i go with the iphone 🙂
