the dolphin hunt – bohol version

yes, it was a dolphin hunt.  minus the blood and gore of course. 🙂

ian and lexi were up really early for their encounter with the dolphins. i was just praying that the dolphins will show up. and show up they did 🙂

the dolphins number were not as numerous as what we had witnessed several years ago on my 1st dolphin watching experience. the spinning in the air display of the dolphins were missing as well.
but at least they did not fail us.

this was about the only decent photo i got of the dolphins that we saw earlier. yes, they are the dark-grey things in a sea of blue. 🙂

this was the dolphin armada (as i call it) that were on the seas to catch the dolphins pass by this part of bohol.  if i were a dolphin, i would be scared as well with all these white “animals” ganging up on me. it was like a highway hold-up on the seas. but then again, this is way better compared to how they were hunted for meat years ago.

am pretty sure that the dolphin watching crews have all been told how eco-tourism would be a win-win situation for the dolphins and men. i hope though there would be a better control in place so that we would not drive away the dolphins to somewhere they would be more at peace. what they have done with donsol and the whale sharks would be a good thing for the dolphin watching industry in bohol as well.

calling denr?!?!
