our recent trip back to malapascua was just to relax and enjoy the crystal clear waters and the fine powdery sand. i wish i could say soak in the sun but i really couldnt afford too much sun anymore 🙂
after 4 hour plus bus ride and a 30 minute bangka ride, we were finally at malaspacua!
kalanggaman island was mentioned to us by a canvasser who was walking with us on our way to the resort. from then on, our idea of just lounging around on the beach and mixing it with dips in the crystal clear beach just went kaput…at least for saturday. 🙂
the boat ride to kalanggaman island was long – 2.5 hours long! it would have probably been shorter if we had a faster boat but the appearance of the dolphins on our way did make up for it, even for a bit. the other boats did not see them. i guess being slow does have its benefits.
and it was worth it. more than i expected. i believe the pictures say it all.
i would have to say that the lunch prepared for us was great! fresh grilled fish and chicken bbq. the couple who owned the boat were also very gracious and attentive to us.
the island…
