unlike movies that have a specific sound track, most of us have specific soundtracks at certain stages in our life. soundtracks that we associate with memorable moments.
i had compiled some music that for the most part of this year (and late last year) has been a staple on my car stereo. and yes, that included good charlotte‘s good morning revival. this is easily one of my recent favorites.
listening to this soundtrack of most of my current life in my current company always brings back memories of being in the swirl of things – technology and simply being at the core of changing things. yes, it was a very good time for me. it was a time of realizing people do see what i can put on the table. it was a time of working with one of the best minds and (with the right attitude! to boot) in my career in IT. it was a stressful time as well. but stress is nothing compared to the drive to see things change. of believing in something.
but things change. whether we like it or not. and so did my soundtrack. now it is more of the casting crowns‘ altar and the door.
and for some reason, i realize that my soundtrack is not much with the lyrics. it is more of the energy that the music brings.
in a few months time, i know that i will probably be changing soundtracks again. whatever it is, only time will tell. 🙂
