and it was. although initially it did not seem like it.
getting to the airport was a cinch. boarding was just a few minutes delayed, given that it was a night flight.
1st main event was juvy almost losing her new spanking phone right before boarding! good thing she remembered about having to turn off the mobile phone when in the plane š
2nd main event was the recount of passengers for what seemed like forever. we did not get caught in traffic but it seems the passengers’ manifesto did š thinking about it now, it seems that the stewardess’ was just passing time by recounting the passengers for so many times while waiting for the manifesto.
3rd main event was the regular show me program of the flight attendants. i must have channeled my thought of them saying “show me an ipod” since it was the 1st thing that they did ask for! image shows what i won! š
the 4th and final main event was quite painful though. while the plane was doing its final approach, we felt a THUD (being seated at the rearmost part of the plane explains the capital letters) and we felt the plane going up again! what the hell was going on, the passengers were muttering. as announced by our dear pilot, it seems that a dog was leisurely crossing the runway at about the same time we were about to land. in order to avert the remains of the dog being integrated with the landing gear, the pilot had to abort landing. the 2nd approach though made the passengers clap with glee. probably just too happy to finally land and be home š
so that was the 8th of december on a cebu pacific flight to cebu from manila. one of my more memorable flights š
