it was really proving to be a bad day for me. the only thing that was preventing it from making it a disaster altogether was the thought that i would be home soon. and even that almost did not happen. the taxi that was taking us to the airport all but broke down in busy edsa. the guys had to push it for quite a stretch and it was to no avail. good thing another taxi soon came over and we just arrived in time for the check in with some room to spare. however, just as i thought things were taking on a better turn, a voice-over coldly announced that our new etd was going to be 9:50pm. what the heck! that’s almost 2 hours after! but what can you exactly do in situations like this? oh well, good thing i still had a copy of The IT Crowd. at least it made me laugh and forget the 2 hours it took for our plane to complete its flight plan from manila-iloilo-manila-cebu-Godknowswhere. talk about overwork!
The IT Crowd by the way is a UK TV series that is hilariously funny. imagine, 2 socially inept geeks being managed by a non-technical manager 🙂
